January 2025 The Classic Eight of the Month

New Year surprise...here is your January 2025 C8. I was looking at the real estate section in the New York Times today. And I saw an article for a pied-à-terre owned by the great actors, Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, was for sale. (A pied-à-terre is a second, smaller apartment usually located in a large city and not used as an individual's primary residence.) Located in Carnegie Hill, the prewar apartment boasts a 2000-square-foot terrace with an unbelievable view of the city and Central Park! It also offers spacious, light-drenched rooms with detailed moldings and herringbone wood floors.

The cost of this little piece of heaven? How does 9.9 million sound? Check out the Douglas Elliman listing below.

The New York Times article might be behind a paywall, but it does offer other pictures of the apartment not included in the listing.
